A collaboration is a colleague link or an AI read. Sending to your own AI never counts.
Questions
What counts as a collaboration?
A colleague link: someone marks up your Preppit in their browser, with no account, and their notes come back pinned to the same spots. An AI read: a model looks at your Preppit before you send it, for ambiguity and notes that disagree. Reads are the only thing that costs us money, so they're the only thing we count. A deep read uses two, and a large Preppit one more. Free includes a set number of collaborations each month, reset on the 1st. We'll confirm each plan's limits at launch.
What happens when I reach Free's limit?
The next colleague link or AI read offers Pro. Nothing you've sent is touched and serving carries on. The count is on your account page and the share sheet.
What happens to my work if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your Preppits stay readable and exportable, and anything past Free's 30 days moves to the bin only after 30 days' notice by email. You keep Pro until the month you paid for ends.
How do the 14 days work?
Every new account starts on Pro with no card. On day 15 you drop to Free unless you choose Pro. We email you on days 11 and 13. There's nothing to cancel.
Which AI does it work with?
Claude and ChatGPT, through a link you paste into your AI once. The same Preppit serves to either.
Where does my sketch go?
To your AI when you press Send, and to your own account so you can reopen it. Nobody else sees it unless you share a link.
Is anything too big to read?
Above roughly forty canvases a Preppit is too large for a clean read, and we say so rather than trim it. The AI you're already talking to can read the whole thing in your own chat.
